FOR 30 years, three children grew up in their Windaroo home, each of them harbouring fond memories of life in the family home.
Now, the family home is on the market.
If “grand entrance” is anything to go by, it’s a house with plenty of space with the grand entrance leading to 1186 square metres.
Agent Linda McCabe says it’s a well-loved and cared for expansive home which has seen three generations grow and leave.
“This home is ready for the next chapter and a new family to add to its charm and character to make their own,” she says.
There are six bedrooms, each with built-ins, and much of the home has been renovated, including two of the bathrooms and the kitchen.
There’s a main house and granny flat, and in the backyard, there’s a gazebo overlooking the inground pool.
The main house is solar powered with an upstairs sitting area, formal dining and lounge areas, a solid timber bar in the rumpus, and a garage with lock up for three cars.
The entrance is fully paved and you’d be forgiven for thinking the butler might arrive to greet the guests.
A granny flat or home office has a living area, kitchenette and separate bedroom with ensuite.
