POLICE have launched a homicide investigation after a man was stabbed to death at Underwood this morning (Friday).
They said the man, aged 20, died early this morning at Fermont Road. He died at the scene and was unresponsive when police arrived.
Police had responded to calls at around 1am that the man had been stabbed.
Police and emergency services attempted to revive the man.
The area has been declared a crime scene, as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue.
Detectives are appealing to anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage depicting a dark coloured SUV in the area at the time to come forward.
Anyone with information that could assist investigations is urged to contact police.
