A 60-year-old man has died after a hit-and-run involving a car and motorbike in Lyons.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Ripley Road and Undullah Road around 12pm on Monday, 8 December, after the crash between a grey Nissan Navara and a blue Yamaha motorcycle.
The rider, a 60-year-old Beenleigh man, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
Police allege the driver of the Nissan Navara failed to remain at the scene and continued heading north along Ripley Road.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the Nissan before or after the incident to contact them.
Investigations are ongoing.
