Guided night walk searches for Greenbank wildlife

Residents can discover what emerges after sunset during a free spotlighting walk at Ison Park, Greenbank, on Friday 7 August.

Guides from the Oxley Creek Catchment Association will lead participants along bushland trails in search of nocturnal wildlife while sharing information about the area’s plants and animals.

The activity forms part of the Peaks to Points Festival.

The walk runs from 7pm to 9pm and is recommended for people aged 12 and older.

Participants younger than 18 must attend with a parent or guardian and every attendee requires a ticket.

The route includes uneven, unsealed tracks and up to two hours of walking or standing, so moderate fitness is required.

Participants should wear fully enclosed shoes and bring a torch, drinking water and insect repellent.

Book tickets via Eventbrite.
