A group of seven teenagers, including two Logan girls, have been arrested after allegedly stealing and crashing a car yesterday.
Police will allege that the car was stolen in Carrara around 10:40am, before it was sighted at Hope Island around 2.30pm.
PolAir tracked the vehicle as it drove towards Logan, where it crashed on Albert Street near Logan River Road at Waterford West.
Officers arrived on scene shortly afterwards and took the car’s seven occupants into custody.
A 16-year-old Kingston girl has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
She was refused police bail and is expected to appear in Beenleigh Childrens Court today, 25 September.
A 14-year-old Kingston girl has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
She is expected to appear in Beenleigh Childrens Court on 9 October.
A 15-year-old Oxenford boy has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle and fraud.
A 13-year-old Coomera boy has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
They were both refused police bail and are expected to appear in Southport Childrens Court today.
A 14-year-old Upper Coomera boy has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 14-year-old Southport boy has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 14-year-old Pimpama boy has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
All three are expected to appear in Southport Childrens Court on 27 September.
