A 33-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm following an alleged altercation at a property on Stoney Camp Road at Park Ridge South at 7:30pm on September 29.
It is alleged he and another man got into a verbal argument that turned physical.
During the incident the 61-year-old male victim was allegedly punched in the head causing him to fall to the floor, where he was again struck multiple times.
Emergency crews were called, and the victim was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.
