Logan residents can spend an afternoon moving between art, birds and green space during a free guided walk through Logan’s cultural precinct.
Art and well-being: Curator’s tour and nature walk will run from 2pm on Wednesday 24 June at Logan Art Gallery, Wembley Road and Jacaranda Avenue, Logan Central.
Logan Arts says the two-hour experience will begin inside the gallery with a curator-led tour, including Monte Lupo Arts’ Birds, Birds, Birds installation.
From there, participants will walk to Logan Entertainment Centre to experience The Birds of Australia, before continuing through Logan Gardens and returning to the gallery for light refreshments.
The event offers a slower way to take in the precinct, connecting visual art, birdlife and the surrounding gardens in one guided afternoon.
The walk is free, listed for people aged 16 and older, and participants are asked to wear comfortable shoes and bring water and sunscreen.
