Four Voice coaches turn for Mabel Park singer

A 15-year-old Mabel Park State High School student has advanced through the Blind Auditions on The Voice Australia after turning all four coaches’ chairs.

Logan singer Daisha Auda performed Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You during the opening episode of the 2026 season.

Ronan Keating, Melanie C, Kate Miller-Heidke and Richard Marx each pressed their button for the teenager, allowing her to choose which team she would join.

Melanie C praised the performance, telling Daisha: “You didn’t just fill this room, you took the roof off.”

Daisha ultimately selected Team Ronan and will continue in the competition with Keating as her coach.

The television appearance follows performances at school and community events in Logan.

A 2025 Carinity Education Southside newsletter recorded Daisha singing at Mabel Park State High School’s NAIDOC celebration after completing a maths exam.

The newsletter described her as a local student and said she joined the gathering to perform during the celebrations.

Daisha was also named among the performers at the Logan NAIDOC Family Fun Day at Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct on 7 July, several weeks before her Blind Audition was broadcast.

She was one of three contestants in the opening episode to receive four chair turns, alongside Tommy Novak and Josh McCauley.
