Four people charged with child stealing

Four people were charged with child stealing last night.

Police allege a home was broken into at Chasley Court, Beenleigh on Thursday night, where a child was take.

Around 11.30pm police were called after reports of a disturbance occurring between multiple people.

It is alleged a 27-year-old woman was struck with an object, receiving injuries to her arm, wrist and back before a two-year-old boy was removed from the address.

The boy, who was subject of a public police appeal, was located safe and well yesterday afternoon.

A 26-year-old Marsden woman and a 39-year-old Marsden man were this morning charged with one count each of enter with intent, assault occasioning bodily harm and child stealing.

They appeared in court today and have been remanded in custody to appear again at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.

A 23-year-old Morayfield woman was this afternoon charged with one count each of enter with intent, assault occasioning bodily harm and child stealing. She is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.

A 23-year-old Morayfield man was this afternoon charged with one count each of enter with intent (domestic violence offence), assault occasioning bodily harm (domestic violence offence), child stealing (domestic violence offence) and contravention of a domestic violence order. He is due to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates court today.
