THE annual Forde Seniors’ Expo is set for a return this year, with hundreds expected to attend.
I’m incredibly pleased to once again be hosting the Seniors’ Expo for the people of our region on Friday, 27 September.
There will be plenty of pertinent information available, whether for you directly, or for a loved one, so be sure not to miss out.
Almost sixty exhibitors assembled at the Canterbury College Events Centre in Waterford last year and we’re anticipating just as many this time around.
Exhibitors will be coming prepped and ready, with a wide array of information for the older members of our community.
The companies and organisations attending cover a diverse range of interests including healthcare providers, residential accommodation, financial advisors, travel professionals, and a host of local not-for-profit service providers and community groups.
We aim to provide as much valuable information as we can in one location.
There will also be a variety of live presentations on the main stage, including speakers, Q&A sessions, sponsor presentations and we’re likely to have a few special guests on the day.
We’ve also made sure we’ll have plenty of entertainment throughout from local artists.
The 2024 Forde Seniors’ Expo includes:
- Free entry
- Free sample bag for every attendee
- Free morning tea of scones, jam, and cream
- Free coffee and tea
- Free sausage sizzle at lunchtime
- Free parking
- And a free shuttle bus between the car park and venue
There will be a range of lucky door prizes to be won on the day, and anyone who completes our Seniors’ Survey will be eligible to go into the draw to claim one of two $100 gift cards.
