Five hospitalised, seven assessed in Shailer Park crash

Five people were hospitalised following a crash at Shailer Park on Monday evening (1 July).

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the two-vehicle crash occured at the intersection of Fels Street and Bryants Road at around 6.23pm.

A total of seven people were assessed by paramedics, including:

  • A woman in her 20s who was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with head, chest and pelvic injuries;
  • Two men in their 20s who were taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
  • A man in his 50s taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
  • An uninjured woman in her 20s transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
  • Two other patients were assessed, but they declined further transport.
