Final countdown to explore history, heart and space

Head to the Logan Art Gallery for your last chance to see the latest exhibitions, featuring historical, intrapersonal and astronautical artwork.

The current exhibition display ends on Saturday 2 September.

The Pride of Logan, an exhibition by artist Pamela See, showcases a visual interpretation of the schooner The Pride of Logan (built adjacent to the Logan River in 1872) through a contemporary form of Chinese paper cutting.

Ms See uses her exhibition to explore the history of Logan in a series of silhouette portraits and paper effigies.

In Space is an exhibition by Woodridge artist Imman Grashuis, who created a series of paintings using the central image of an astronaut to explore human emotions.

The third exhibition comes from the National Exhibitions Touring Support (NETS) Victoria.

It is a touring exhibition called Conflated, in which artists use inflatable forms and the cycle of breathing to portray experiences, behaviours and expressions.

The gallery is located on the corner of Jacaranda Ave and Wembley Rd at Logan Central, and is open everyday until Saturday 2 September, from 10am to 5pm.

Entry is free.
