Explore new worlds at ImagiNation festival

The countdown is on for Logan City Council’s ImagiNation Children’s Festival – a festival for little adventurers and playful parents.

The free family event will be held on Saturday 18 April at the Kingston Butter Factory (KBF) Cultural Precinct, featuring activities, workshops, entertainment and competitions across six magical worlds – nature, creative, digital, cultural, entertainment and action.

Mayor Jon Raven said the ImagiNation festival is a great opportunity for Logan kids and families to enjoy a fun day out.

“We want Logan kids to dream big and try new things,” he said.

“Because we are a place for families to grow, it’s important to offer opportunities for even our youngest residents to enjoy.

“ImagiNation allows kids to be curious and adventurous and, best of all, it’s perfectly timed for the end of school holidays, giving families a free way to keep kids busy before school starts again.”

Activities include a dinosaur discovery dig, bubble and slime workshops, dance classes and a magic mirror photo booth.

Children also have the chance to win a prize pack by collecting stamps in their ImagiNation Kids Passport on the day.

The ImagiNation Children’s Festival will run from 9am to 3pm on Saturday 18 April.
