CINEMA fans are in for a treat on Friday night if they get in early for a ticket to Predator Badlands.
The special screening of the movie will be at Loganholme Event Cinemas, 6.45pm Friday night.
It’s a one-off deal, offering recliner seats in the cinema’s new ScreenX theatre for $21, and normal seats for $15.
Anyone who books a recliner gets bonus merch from the promoter valued at $42, and those who book into the normal seats score a free cap.
The Loganholme cinema three months ago became only the second cinema in Queensland to have the ScreenX theatre.
It has screens on the side walls, aimed to provide cinema-goers with a more immersive experience.
The movie released in ScreenX format before the new Loganholme theatre launched, but it’s been brought back to provide fans an opportunity to get the full experience, an Events Cinema representative said.
Predator: Badlands stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi.
It’s set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator (Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.
