Weekend meditation

Mana Atua Spiritual Gathering Logan meets every fortnight on Sundays, from 3pm to 6pm at the Marsden and District Progress Association. They often have guest speakers who share their knowledge with attendees. The afternoon’s include singing, meditation, and supper.

Computer group

The Greenbank District Computer Group meets on 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month at .Logan West Library. The meetings go from 9am to 12pm. The group is small, mature aged, informal and friendly. Typically, members share knowledge & assist each other through one on one and round table discussion groups. For more, call Dawn on 0413938947.

DV fundraiser lunch

White Lady Funerals are holding a fundraiser for Safe Haven Community to help women and their children to flee safely and confidentially from domestic violence situations. The fundraiser will be from 12:30pm to 2:30pm on Tuesday 9 May, at Meadowbrook Golf Club. The event, including lunch, is $40 per head.

DV remembrance vigil

Logan City Council are hosting a candlelight vigil on Wednesday 3 May to remember and respect those impacted by domestic and family violence. The vigil is from 5.15pm to 6.30pm on the forecourt of the Logan Entertainment Centre in Logan Central. As well as lighting candles, attendees can also write inspirational messages to adorn a ‘Hope Tree’, which will be planted.

Walking football

Seniors Walking Football have moved to Slacks Creek Football Club. For those 60 years and
over who are hoping to socialise and exercise, join the group every Tuesday from 8:30am, followed by a coffee and a chat. Cost is $5 per game. For more, contact Keith on 0418 749649
