Erin McGee: no limit, just Growth!

From unwavering resilience to fearless ambition, Erin McGee embodies the essence of empowerment. Inspired by the strength of her mother and the legacy she’s building for her daughters, Erin approaches life and business with purpose, passion, and an unshakable belief in lifting others as she climbs. In this Q&A, she shares her thoughts on International Women’s Day, the power of authenticity, and why there are no limits—only growth.

Is there a woman in your life you admire or are inspired by?
I admire my mother for her incredible strength, especially through one of life’s toughest battles—Ovarian Cancer. She has not only faced the physical and mental challenges of the disease but has also emerged with resilience, rediscovering herself and embracing life again. My two daughters inspire me every day—not only to be the best mother I can be but to build a legacy they can be proud of.

What is your my International Women’s Day message?
International Women’s Day is about lifting each other up and honouring our own values. Stay authentically true to who you are and keep cheering for the women who do the same.

What would you tell your younger self?
Never play small. Chase the dreams that scare you the most. Embrace the ambitious dreams. If it doesn’t work out, take the lessons, find the silver linings, pivot, and go again. The world rewards those who dare to try.

What’s a misconception about women in business that you wish would disappear?
Women in business have to choose between success and softness – that being ambitious means sacrificing warmth, or that being strong means we can’t also be kind. Women can be driven, bold, and unapologetically successful while still leading with empathy, collaboration, and integrity. Strength isn’t about being the loudest in the room; it’s about knowing your worth, holding your ground, and lifting others as you climb.

“Stay authentically true to who you are and keep cheering for the women who do the same.”

Was there a defining moment I knew that this career was the right direction for me?
I knew this career was the right path for me when I realized how many homeowners overlook the true value of their property. A home is more than just a roof over your head – it’s an investment working for you every day. Understanding its worth is key to making informed decisions that can shape your future. Buying and selling are life – changing journeys, and I’m passionate about guiding people through these transitions to help them move forward with confidence. It’s exciting, ever-changing, challenging and rewards my soul.

What does International Women’s Day mean to me?
International Women’s Day, to me, is about empowerment, recognition and support. It’s a reminder to uplift other women and encourage women to embrace their true worth and their own voice. If a woman is going to put herself above you, let her – it speaks volumes about her, not you. mentors willing to teach me the ropes.
