On Saturday (December 18) representatives from all of our Logan District emergency services gathered at Woodridge Fire and Rescue Station on Kingston Road.
Members from all of our services have been collecting donations for those who are less fortunate this coming Christmas day. Donations have come from businesses within Logan, community members and from our emergency services members themselves.
In preparation for the Santa Run it was all hands on deck resulting in an extensive amount of gifts packed and ready to be delivered by our members.
The Santa Run will commence at 8:30am on Christmas Day, 25 December and make its way through Woodridge and onto Loganlea.
The convoy of emergency services vehicles will be stopping at the Loganlea Community Centre located on Station Road and will be stationary for approximately 30 minutes before continuing onto the Logan Hospital which is the final destination.
The Logan Emergency Services Santa Run is in its third year and getting bigger and better each year. Below video depicts Peter Miles from the Queensland Police Service, Benjamin Darling-Filby from the Queensland Ambulance Service and Scott Edwards from the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service outlining their enthusiasm and appreciation of all involved.
