Logan City Council, Lions@Springwood, Metro South Health, and the Queensland Police Service joined forces for an afternoon ‘Drink Rite’ session on Saturday, March 13.
Alcohol consumption information pamphlets
The program is run in a controlled and supervised setting and aims to educate the participants on the effects of alcohol consumption.
Breath tests were conducted on the volunteers at 30-minute intervals, and their readings recorded.
The ‘drunk goggles’ also made a cameo appearance which highlighted the effects of various levels of alcohol intoxication.
Logan Police partner with the Logan City Council and the local liquor industry to promote and foster a positive culture around responsible consumption of alcohol, and to reduce alcohol-related offences within our community.
