Drugs, weapons found in bust

Police have charged a man, 24, with multiple drugs and weapons charges following the search at Mount Warren Park.

On Wednesday June 9, police allegedly found 54 grams of cocaine, 5kg of cannabis, a large amount of steroids and pharmaceutical tablets.

Police allege there was a semi-automatic rifle, sawn off bolt action rifle, a lever action rifle, ammunition, silencers, an electronic conductive device, flick knives, knuckle dusters and almost $55,000 in cash.

Three people were arrested at the time.

The 24-year-old Mount Warren Park man was charged with six counts of unlawful possession of weapons, five counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of possessing explosives (ammunition), contravening order about information necessary to access information stored electronically, possessing property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence, possessing shortened firearms, possess utensils, acquiring restricted items and possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of a drug offence.

A 30-year-old South Brisbane woman has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.

A 24-year-old Bahrs Scrub man has been charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs.

All three are scheduled to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 7.
