Drugs found in Cornubia house

POLICE believe they have busted a complex drug supply network.

A man, 34, was arrested and charged after a large quantity of meth, fantasy and MDMA were found at a Cornubia house last week.

Police said $70,000 cash was also found, along with guns.

At about 10.30am last Tuesday, police from multiple teams, including the Logan District Drug and Firearm Team, searched the rural property.

They allegedly found 884.3 grams of methylamphetamine in a cavity in a bedroom cupboard, and quantities of MDMA, Suboxone and Liquid Fantasy (GHB).

Police continued a further search of a shed on the property and allegedly located four operable G-lock handguns in a cupboard.

The arrested man was charged with possessing dangerous drugs, possession of property suspected of being the proceeds of crime, unlawful possession of weapons and contravening an order about information necessary to access information stored electronically.

The man appeared in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 6 and has been remanded in custody to reappear on December 12.

A woman, 23, has also been charged with possessing dangerous drugs and implements.

She is due to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court on November 10.
