A severely emaciated dog has been found wandering the streets of Logan, and the RSPCA is asking locals for help identifying her.
The dog, temporarily named Willa by the RSPCA and believed to be around 6 or 7 years old, was handed in to the local pound on Friday 4 July by a member of the public from Chambers Flat Road.
“She has no identification,” an RSPCA spokesperson said.
“She is approximately 6-7 years of age and severely emaciated. She has one eye. It appears her other eye was previously surgically removed.
“For now, we have named her Willa which means resolute protector and she is currently getting the care she needs from our dedicated veterinary team.”
RSPCA inspectors are urging anyone with information about the dog to contact 1300 ANIMAL (264 625) or report it via www.rspcaqld.org.au/contact-us/report-cruelty.
