Diego reunites with owner after student rescue

A group of Year Five students from John Paul College recently rescued and saved ‘Diego’ the quaker parrot after he was attacked by Miner birds. After saving him, the teacher put Diego on Facebook’s “Logan lost pet register” and found the owner. Diego escaped during the storms. Diego’s owner rewarded students with a pizza party and a generous cash donation which students are planning to give to an animal charity.
