Country artist Jake Whittaker launches his debut digital EP In My Blood on Thursday, followed by a live show at Beenleigh Tavern on Friday night, giving fans the chance to hear the new material performed live.
Mr Whittaker said the project had taken shape over several years.
“This EP has been a long time coming,” he said.
“I’ve spent a couple of years writing with different people, trying different ideas and figuring out what feels right. I didn’t want to rush it.”
The six-track EP includes ‘Silverado In The Sunset’ and ‘Guy With A Boat’, alongside songs written over the past three to four years.
“This EP is definitely about more than the individual singles and unreleased tracks; these songs show my growth as an artist since my first release, ‘Round Here’, in 2023,” Mr Whittaker said.
