Council cash dash

Logan City Council can now apply for up to $32.46 million funding from the state and federal governments to help the city prepare for its predicted population boom.

The funding is there to help local council deliver projects that will build “healthier, liveable and more inclusive, connected communities”.

This includes new parks and projects that promote health and wellbeing, and community infrastructure that complements new housing supply or urban renewal.

A total of $285.81 million is available to 11 local councils in south-east, spanning more than three million residents.
