Apartment living will be introduced to Yarrabilba for the first time under a new mixed-use development planned for the growing Logan community.
The mixed-use apartment development known as MountView will be built by Radiance Spaces, as part of a broader retail and residential precinct being developed at Dixon Circuit by Stockland at Yarrabilba.
MountView will combine ground floor food and retail tenancies with three levels of apartments above.
Construction is due to begin this year and is expected to take between 18 and 24 months.
Stockland has confirmed construction is already underway on the adjoining retail hub, which will provide about 8000sqm of lettable space across food, dining, showroom and indoor recreation uses.
Confirmed tenants for stage one include Hungry Jack’s, Guzman y Gomez, Subway and JAX Tyres.
The precinct will also include 287 car park spaces.
Stage one, focused on food and service retail, is expected to be open later this year.
A second stage will deliver a bulky goods retail offering, with additional tenants yet to be announced.
Stockland senior development manager Andrew Erzetich said the combined projects marked an important step for the community.
“These additions will bring more food, dining and service options to the community,” Mr Erzetich said.
