There’s one option in the Springwood area that makes morning coffee runs a benefit to the community.
The Logan East Community Neighbourhood Association has launched a Springwood Coffee Wagon, a coffee cart at the front of the Cinderella Drive centre.
And it’s not only the price of the $3 barista-made coffees that are the main attraction.
All funds raised from the coffee cart, open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8.30am until noon, go back towards the centre and to help the community.
People can grab a coffee, take a seat, and perhaps consider donating some coffee beans to support the social enterprise.
There will also be an opportunity to “pay it forward” and purchase a coffee for someone at risk of homelessness.
The coffee cart will be running until at least June.
