LOGAN City Community Cadets gave recently gave up a couple of hours of their Saturday before Father’s Day to help Legacy sell badges and bears to raise funds.
They helped raise $2278 at the Browns Plains Bunnings store.
On November 5, they’ll be having an open day for boys and girls aged 11-17.
It’s a not-for-profit organisation and an independent military cadet unit with a curriculum based on scouting and military frameworks, helping young people gain life skills while having fun.
At the open day, there will be interactive activities from 9am to 3pm at the Browns Plains Cadet Depot in Acacia Park, Fern St.
Contact info@logancadets.com.au or 0480 296 555 to book a session time.
