Logan City Community Cadets banded togeteher in Browns Plains over the weekend to give away poppies for a donation to raise funds for Greenbank RSL Sub-branch.
They gathered at Grand Plaza for three days. Money raised will help with services such as crisis accommodation, and health and wellbeing programs to thousands of veterans and their families.
The not-for-profit organisation is actively recruiting boys and girls aged 10-17 to become military cadets.
The curriculum is based on a scouting and military framework, “equipping your child with life skills while having fun”.
