Finalists have been announced for the 2022 Logan Business Distinction Awards.
Some of last year’s winners have returned to see whether they can retain their title, such as the Whitehouse of Waterford resturant, Bee All Natural in the beauty, health and well-being category, and B&C Plastics in the manufacturing category.
Simply Beans has won multiple awards for its hospitality, Laser Tag in a Box is back for its events services, and Barefoot Fish is back in contention for the retail award. Yodel is back to defend the technology and innovation category.
Then, there are some new faces such as Wheelnutz Garage which opened in the past 12 months. Businesses such as Devon Pixies have taken on a new look, in their case moving to the new Kingston Butter Factory precinct.
Some categories have seen a totally new list of finalists compared to that of last year, proving the depth and diversity of business in the Logan region.
There were almost 500 nominations this year, and about 100 applications.
The awards will be announced at an awards gala on August 19.
