Build a home for wildlife at Bethania

Bethania Community Centre is hosting a free hands-on workshop on November 30 that will teach participants how to build, install, monitor, and maintain nest boxes for wildlife.

The session, which runs from 9:30 to 11 a.m., aims to support hollow-dependent animals that rely on tree hollows for shelter, nesting, and protection.

With natural hollows increasingly scarce, nest boxes provide an essential alternative for these species.

Attendees will work in groups to assemble their own nest box with provided materials, guided step-by-step by instructors.

Once installed in gardens, these boxes contribute to vital habitat conservation efforts in local backyards.

Spaces are limited.
