Browns Plains Grand Plaza is high on a list of venues which will be at the heart of tracing for Covid-19.
Tracing will seek out people who visited venues in the Logan region, dating back to August 9.
Infected people connected with the Wacol Youth Dentention Centre outbreak visited the shopping centre over the past two weeks.
They also visited venues in Marsden, Slacks Creek, Greenbank and Crestmead.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has acted quickly to impose strict restrictions on the City of Logan following a coronavirus outbreak linked to Wacol Youth Detention Centre.
The Premier recited health advice, pleading for people in the area with even the mildest of symptoms to “please get tested”.
Five cases have been linked to staff at the detention centre, and four other cases were linked to a single household.

Under new restrictions put in place this weekend for the Logan City area, no more than 10 people are now allowed to gather in private homes and public spaces, except in businesses operating under a Covid-safe plan.
Aged care homes and disability accommodation facilities have newly-imposed restrictions on visitors, and for residents wanting to leave the facility.
Hospitals have been asked to restrict visitors.
And hospital emergency departments, aged care facilities and disability accommodation facilities will use Personal Protective Equipment including face masks and gloves to treat all patients and residents.
