There’s not much Billy Breen hasn’t done.
The man who calls his business One Call Handyman prides himself on being able to fix most problems around the house.
He started his career learning sheet metal manufacture, commercial work, and extensive installation of retail fit-outs.
Add to that a number of years working with other tradies in renovation work, including a block of units, and you get a guy who’s picked up a fair few tips and tricks.
“No two jobs are the same, which is sometimes what handyman work is like; every job is different and how it’s tackled needs someone with heaps of experience and a will to problem solve,” he says.
“For the last seven years, I’ve been providing professional handyman services where I’ve covered a vast array of jobs, sizes of work and types of work.
“Everything from painting and plastering to landscaping and minor home and commercial repairs has been part of my service. I’ve come across some interesting scenarios, sometimes difficult challenges, and have learned a heap. That breadth of knowledge and range of experience is what I bring to every job.”
One Call Handyman offers a wide range of services for homes and properties, from jobs such as gutter cleaning and rubbish removal, through to professional jobs such as painting and plastering services, tiling, replacing timber, skirting boards, fencing and all your other general carpentry needs.
Mr Breen says picking up the phone to book a handyman should be the hardest part of the task for his customers.
“That’s why I give fully transparent and clear free quotations so you know exactly where you stand before you even say ‘go ahead’,” he says.
“I make sure that the work is done in a timely fashion and that I turn up when I say I will. Good communication is important too – you won’t be wondering what’s going on, or when I’ll be turning up.
“At the end of the job your business, home or premises is left not just as good as when I came, but better. Where other people are around, whether that’s your family, staff, or clients, I ensure everything is done in a safe manner.
“Oh, and don’t forget the job – I make sure the job is done right straight up and will last. You’ll only ever need to call me back when you think of something new you’d love me to do for you.”
