This weekend is promising to kick off with a bang for local music-lovers keen to watch nationally-acclaimed artists.
Australian musicians Meg Washington and Katie Noonan will be taking to the stage at the Kingston Butter Factory.
Ms Washington’s name might be known to some due to her work outside the music scene.
The triple ARIA Award winner is making a name for herself through works like the 2025 film adaptation of Paul Kelly’s classic song How to Make Gravy, co-written by Ms Washington.
She also wrote all the songs for an upcoming musical feature film The Deb, directed and produced by actor Rebel Wilson, and her work has even appeared on famed television series Bluey.
Her music career spans jazz, pop, folk, and more.
Ms Noonan is a five-time ARIA award-winning artist who has produced 29 studio albums over her 25-year career, with seven platinum record sales under her belt.
Her Logan performance, from 8pm on Saturday 5 July, will feature a selection of some of her own favourite songs – written by her and by others – as well as a preview of some brand-new material from a forthcoming release.
