Beenleigh CBD’s revamp was officially opened last Friday afternoon.
The $5 million upgrade includes streetscaping improvements, new garden beds and trees, creativing lighting and custom-design directional signs.
There are the shades in the Town Square, free wi-fi and smart parking.
A plaque was unveiled by deputy mayor Jon Raven and local councillor Karen Murphy.
There was later a movie in the Town Square, something council has said there will be more of.
