Becson Furniture, based in Jimboomba and Logan Central, is a true family-owned operation where the couple’s dedication to quality, personalised service, and Australian manufacturing has made them a local success story. What inspired you to start a local furniture manufacturing business here in Logan?
Jason: I’ve been making lounges and working in the industry since I was 16, so starting a business of our own was really a natural progression.
Becson is a true family business — what does being family-owned mean to you and your customers?
Rebecca: Becson is very much a family affair — chances are if you visit one of our showrooms, you’ll meet Jason or me personally. Being so hands-on means we truly stand behind our furniture — it’s definitely a labour of love.
How important is it to keep the business local, from manufacturing to customer service?
Jason: It’s extremely important to us. We employ locals, live locally, and are part of the community. Supporting Logan’s growth and economy really matters to us.
Quality is a big part of your brand — what sets Becson Furniture apart from mass-produced options?
Rebecca: Everything we make is built to order — not mass-produced. It’s designed specifically for you, your space, and your lifestyle.
How involved can customers be in choosing or customising their furniture with you?
Jason: Very involved! Customers can customise size, fabric, leg stain — whatever suits their home and family. Our Jimboomba showroom even lets people see the factory in action.

Rebecca: Being local means we’re easily contactable if anything goes wrong — no dealing with multiple manufacturers. We make it, we back it.
What’s been the key to your longevity and success?
Jason: Community support has been huge. People love that their furniture is made right here in Jimboomba, and we offer personal touches like free fabric protection on every lounge.

Rebecca: We hope to keep growing and continue making beautiful Australian-made furniture for the community for many years to come.
