RADIO 101fm recently celebrated at a Christmas get-together where the station traditionally announces awards for its best volunteer presenters.
Station manager Terry Blacker said in many ways, it was a year to forget.
But volunteers had maintained their commitment to the airwaves.
The President’s Award went to Paul Barrett for his dedication to the station.
The prestigious Jim O’Brien Award went to Mike Anderson.
