THE artists who built exhibitions at the Living Museum of Logan will this weekend reveal the stories behind their work.
On Saturday, the museum which opened last month at Kingston Butter Factory Cultural, and which sits separately to the Logan City Historical Museum at the same site, will host the special event.
The Community Day program starts at11.30am with a talk by artist and educator Sylvia Nakachi about her artworks in the First Nations Space.
Artists Chrys Zantis, Sam Tupou and Dr Nicola Hooper will give talks throughout the day.
A discussion with emerging artists and participants from the Snapshot! exhibition, which captures the street styles of the City of Logan, will be led by photographer Louis Lim.
The day also includes music by Dave Loveland whose portrait features in Snapshot!
Sally Terare will talk about her public art design Wander free displayed in the KBF Plaza.
The program will conclude with a 4pm talk by Lincoln Austin about his public art design Milky Way which features on KBF’s outdoor stage.
