STUDENTS from across Logan have drawn images that will feature on a Logan City Council World Environment Day 2023 calendar.
They took part in a “our green city” poster competition and were presented with certificates and prize earlier this year.
Winners included Mayor’s Choice Zachary Jacobs (St Edwards Catholic Primary School) and Emily McIntosh (Windaroo State School).
Zachary’s work will be on the front of the calendar.
“The artwork from the competition winners was outstanding, and it was a tough choice to narrow it down this year,” Cr Power said.
LEAF, Queensland’s largest sustainability festival, attracted thousands at Meadowbrook on Sunday.
Popular Gardening Australia presenter Costa Georgiadis headlined the annual event.
