Three people are being sought by police after an armed robbery at a Beenleigh service station involving a sword and what appeared to be a gun.
Police said the group arrived at the Logan River Road business in a stolen black Chery Tiggo shortly before 1am on October 14.
Two males allegedly entered the store carrying the weapons, prompting an 18-year-old employee to flee through the rear of the business.
The pair stole a cash till and the employee’s personal belongings before fleeing with a third person who had remained in the car.
Police said the car had been reported stolen from a Flagstone property on October 12.
About 1.30am, officers responded to a car fire near Curtisii Court and Third Avenue in Kingston.
Investigators are working to determine whether the burnt car was the stolen Tiggo.
The employee was not physically injured.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward.
