A MAN’S desire for fast food may have led to his arrest last week.
A man was arrested outside a fast food restaurant at Springwood.
Just a week earlier, police sent out vision of the man which had been taken at a fast food drive through.
Police arrested a 28-year-old Regents Park man, and charged him with 30 offences regarding the unlawful use of eight cars across the Logan and Gold Coast regions over the past month.
Charges include eight counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, five counts of entering a dwelling with intent and stealing, and one count each of fraud, possessing drugs, possessing a knife in a public place and unlicensed driving.
He is scheduled to reappear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on April 14.
Police will allege a grey 2021 Ford Mustang coupe was stolen from an address at Brookhaven Boulevard, Bahrs Scrub.
They say it was later seen at Yarrabilba, where a white 2015 Nissan Navara utility and a brown 2014 Kia Sportage station wagon were stolen.
Around 3.40pm, the stolen Mustang was used to steal about $60 worth of unleaded fuel from a service station at Anzac Avenue, Hillcrest, police allege.
The Mustang was sighted at the drive-through of a Jimboomba fast food restaurant around 5.40pm.
