Terms and Conditions:
MyCity Media “Think Local, Buy Logan” Christmas Shopping Spree Competition 2021
2. This is a game of chance. The criteria listed in these terms and conditions determine each participant’s eligibility to enter.
3. Entry is open to persons over 18 years of age. Each person may enter multiple times, however only one entry is permitted for each individual receipt (proof of purchase) from a participating retailer. All duplicate entries will be removed prior to the prize draw.
4. Promotion commences 8am Tuesday November 16, 2021, and closes at 5pm Sunday December 12, 2021. Promotion will be via www.mycitylogan.com.au and the MyCity Logan printed edition.
5. There will be two ways to enter the competition. Either via the digital entry form https://dummymycitylogan.com.au/enter-the-draw-to-win-a-2000-christmas-shopping-spree/, or by sending a hard copy entry form found in the November 16, November 23, November 30 and December 7 editions of MyCity Logan newspaper.
6. It is a condition of entry each form must be accompanied by a receipt number supplied by one of the participating retailers. The promoter may add a participating retailer during the duration of the competition. The promoter may remove a participating retailer during the duration of the competition, however all entries received during the time a retailer was listed as a participating retailer will be deemed eligible entries.
7. There is one (1) prize to be won for the duration of the competition. The draw will take place at 4pm, Tuesday December 14. The winner will be notified by email and/or phone. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Each entry will be numbered and the winner chosen randomly by electronic software.
Minimum total prize value: $2,000
10. The winner will be asked for proof of purchase from a participating retailer, which corresponds with the receipt number provided on the winning entry form. Proof of purchase may be in the form of a receipt, as supplied by the retailer, or a bank statement showing payment for purchase which corresponds with the identifying receipt number. Failure to provide proof of purchase will render the winning entry void, and the prize will be redrawn as per condition (11).
10. The above prize includes GST and any fees incurred in the purchase of the prize. This prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other prizes. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
13. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
15. The winner may be requested to participate in promotional photographs for the purposes of in-store newsletters, digital publicity, or publication in MyCity Logan.
16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
17. Owners and employees or contractors of MyCity Media (t/a MyCity Logan) and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
