Fourteen not-for-profit organisations in Logan are set for some help from Queensland’s gambling community benefit fund.
A share of nearly $270,000 will help pay for club upgrades and fixes, new equipment, and the general running of major events.
HELP Employment gets a new bus.
“We are extremely grateful for the funding,” HELP Enterprises executive Denver Fresser said.
“The mini-bus will be used to bring disadvantaged jobseekers including Indigenous and other groups to attend educational training workshops where they will acquire skills required to gain employment.”
