The lengthy letter from Steve Wells is very concerning. Recent comments from the Climate Council are simply repeating the same discredited arguments on alleged climate impacts on humanity.
Even the United report acknowledged that much of their material is based on flawed data sources.
Earth’s climate has changed since the beginning of time – it is called ‘weather’ and ‘seasons’.
Recent adverts from insurance companies have implied that Queensland faces increased danger from floods and fires – based upon an invalid methodology.
Scientific studies must use the ‘scientific method’ when studying natural phenomena – not a wish list of partisan hopes and dreams. Actual studies show that temperatures are actually decreasing.
Floods in other countries have been alleged to be the result of CO2 and “climate change”, however, data for the same areas that go back hundreds of years show even more serious flooding – before CO2, Industrial Revolution, or ”The Sky is Falling’ alarmism.
In view of the actual science and reliable research today, I will be supporting any MP and their Party that stops wasting scarce financial resources that ignore the hysteria that emanates from discredited and unscientific sources.
There are many highly reliable sources of accurate data on public record right now.
