Business is booming for local technology company AKIPS with the continued success of their innovative product across the globe.
AKIPS produces a network-monitoring software which is unlike any other on the market, and is used by some of the most-recognised businesses in the world.
Chief Technology Officer Nick Frampton said it had been a privilege to be able to continue to grow the business and continue to hire new staff, despite the impacts of COVID.
“We have experienced major growth over the past year. From our humble beginnings in a backyard shed 10 years ago, to now, we have come a long way,” he said.
“We have hired a range of new staff, launched a new website and we are currently finalists in two major awards. We are very excited to be able to celebrate our success.”
Chief Marketing Officer Mark Birkinshaw said AKIPS was well recognised internationally.
“AKIPS is constantly bringing in new clients with big global names, out of the US, but we are now looking to expand our customer base further locally.
“We are a small Tanah Merah-based company, so it has also been great to continue to employ new staff, and contribute to our local economy.”
AKIPS Network Monitor helps businesses identify any potential disruptions to their network before they occur, allowing staff to be proactive instead of fire-fighting.
Mr Frampton said the AKIPS product was more important than ever with so many businesses moving to work from home.
“The product is quick and easy to download and install, and has no limits on users or monitoring coverage,” he said.
