Is Logan, or any city in Australia, serious about curbing landfill?
Why are thousands of wine and sprit glass bottles going into land fill every day?
I recycle my other cans and bottles for cash, and am prepared to donate my wine and sprit bottles as they are prime examples of a recyclable material.
I would suggest suitable collection bins at all containers for cash outlets together with car parks located close to supermarkets.
6 bins – one for clear, one for green, one for brown together with one for cardboard, one for newspaper and one for rags.
This system works in many other countries so why not here?
