Saddle up for the ranch

Saddle up, this week’s house of the week is a mini ranch, complete with four horse paddocks and a training ring.

While there are neighbours, the property backs on to a natural backdrop which adds to the serenity of the place.

A back deck and pool have been built to overlook the rest of the property.

Inside, there’s a chef’s kitchen which was remodeled 18 months ago, two living areas and four bedrooms, each with built-ins.

The master bedroom has been built at the end of the house and has its own wrap around verandah, an ensuite and walk-in robe.

There is a study which could be a 5th bedroom. One of the bathrooms has also been renovated.

And while the house itself us functional with L-shaped living room and open lounge with links to the outside entertaining area, it’s the ranch that provides the key point of difference.

The first thing that will strike anyone looking at the yard is how neatly it’s been kept, with green lush lawns and tidy infrastructure including sheds and fencing.

“The horse enthusiast is going to appreciate everything that has been created and planned,” the agent says.

“It features a large central shed that provides horse facilities with stables, carports for vehicle cover, paddocks and a natural backdrop to sit back and enjoy your own piece of paradise.

“If you are an established horse lover or someone wanting to kick off your new acreage adventure … you can instantly gain access with all the hard work done.”

There’s a magnesium salt pool, double carport which can harbour a caravan or horse float, solar power and five water tanks.

One shed has two stables and four covered day yard and shelters, while another has a 6m x 6m work area.

For the horses, there are two formal stables in the barn with automated water, four covered day yards, a concrete wash bay, round training area and covered veterinary crush facilities.

It’s up for auction on Saturday July 24 at 4pm.
