A Logan Reserve man has been charged after police investigated a series of alleged knife threats, car thefts and a crash along Chambers Flat Road.
Queensland Police said a man threatened several motorists with a knife between 8pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday 7 July.
Following investigations, police arrested a 24-year-old Logan Reserve man on 10 July.
He was charged with three counts of armed robbery and one count each of threatening violence and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
Police allege he first approached a 19-year-old woman at a Park Ridge service station and demanded the keys to her Mazda.
The woman ran inside and was not physically injured.
Police said the man then threatened a 44-year-old driver and stole his silver Ford Falcon.
The Falcon was later involved in a three-car crash on Chambers Flat Road at Waterford West.
Police said the man then fled on foot before approaching a 33-year-old man in a grey Nissan X-Trail, assaulting him and stealing the vehicle.
The 33-year-old sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Logan Hospital.
He was due to reappear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 13 July.
