Residents of Edens Landing, Holmview and Bethania can put eligible bulky household items out for kerbside collection this month.
Logan City Council’s clean-up schedule starts in the three suburbs on Monday 20 July.
Items should be placed out on the weekend before collection and must be ready by 6am on Monday.
Households can put out up to two cubic metres of waste, or a pile no larger than two metres wide, one metre high and one metre deep.
Accepted items include furniture, mattresses, carpet, small amounts of building material and some whitegoods.
Batteries, tyres, gas cylinders, chemicals, paint, fridges, freezers, air conditioners, televisions, mirrors, solar panels and electronics containing batteries will not be collected.
The service is only available to residential properties receiving a council waste collection service.
