Two people have been charged after a stolen car was allegedly driven dangerously through parts of Logan and Brisbane before police stopped it in Woodridge.
Queensland Police said a white Isuzu MU-X was stolen from a car park on Kingston Road, Underwood, between 10.45am and 12.40pm on Tuesday 30 June.
Police said the car was seen on Chambers Flat Road at Waterford West about 2pm, where it was driven erratically.
The car continued to be driven dangerously through the Logan and Brisbane regions before police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device at Woodridge.
A 17-year-old Woodridge boy and a 30-year-old Browns Plains woman were arrested a short time later.
The boy was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving without a licence and wilful damage.
He was due to appear in Beenleigh Children’s Court on 1 July.
The woman was charged with four counts of stealing and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and evasion offence in company.
She is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 14 July.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the white Isuzu MU-X in the Logan or Brisbane regions, or who has relevant information or footage, to contact police.
