Police charge 18-year-old after alleged car break-ins in Logan suburbs

Police allege that four vehicles were entered overnight, along Oringa Street at Shailer Park, and Lynette Way and Brentwood Drive at Daisy Hill, between between 18 and 19 May.

Police said several items were stolen from the vehicles, including laptops and electronic tablets.

An 18-year-old Marsden man has been charged after officers were called to the area and arrested the man, who police allege was riding a motorcycle reported stolen from South Brisbane on 12 April.

The Marsden man has been charged with four counts of entering premises and committing an offence and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The 18-year-old is expected to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 23 June.

Logan Police have urged residents to make sure cars, homes and keys are kept locked and secure.
